I studied graphic design at Mass College of Art and later obtained a business degree from Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts. I have had a long career at a college setting as publications and media center manager and marketing director in the corporate sector. However, fascination with photography and image making as a medium of communication has been a part of me for as long as I can remember.

Seeing is a gift that I cherish.  It is my passion to seek special places in my travels, document them and share them with the world.

As a lifelong learner, I have studied the masters; Bresson, Weston, Adams, Karsh, Salgado, Avedon and many, many more. In the process, I have learned the technical part but more importantly, I have learned the “why” of photography. Why do we create images? For me it comes down to connecting with nature and our surroundings.
